he's using that as an excuse to get away from the relationship and you're absolutely right...it is a really lame excuse. he could easily find a job if he were to stay with you. the truth that you need to understand in all this is that he doesnt want to. he wants to get out there and be single. thats a really lame way to go about breaking up with someone but all you can do is understand that you deserve to be with someone that wants to be with you.

I would be happy if I were you. I question why you wanna be with a broke man? I'm not saying only date rich men...but why would you put yourself in that situation? Love of your life? If he doesn't have a job and can't provide how the hell are y'all gonna pay for a wedding? How are you gonna support the "babies" you mentioned? Please not with my tax dollars.

You sound young. And I say that because you'll probably have 2 -3 more "love of your life's". And I don't know any grown woman that would be with a jobless, broke ass man! Personally, if he can't do for me what I can do for myslef (and that's a lot) - then he wouldn't get the time of day. It's one thing if you're having hard times, he's layed off or something like that but it doesn't sound like that's the case. It sounds like he just doesn't work. Maybe I'm wrong.

You self-esteem must be pretty low to think you have to settle for that.
